Nominations aux Global Poker Awards 2024: Gregory Chochon et Winamax en Lice
Les votes ont eu lieu pour la 6e édition annuelle des Global Poker Awards et il y a beaucoup d'excellents candidats. L'ambassadrice de PokerStars et double lauréate Caitlin Comeskey est nommée pour quatre prix, tandis que les frenchies ne sont pas oubliées avec Grégory Chochon nommé dans la catégorie de la meilleure personnalité de l'industrie et les équipes de Winamax pour la série 'Dans la tête d'un pro' et le documentaire 'Davidi Kitai, la vie du Génie'.
Parmi les joueurs et les personnalités du secteur nommés dans deux catégories figurent Daniel Negreanu, Nikki Limo, Dara O'Kearney, David Lappin, Barry Carter, Barny Boatman et la créatrice de contenu Abby Merk, qui a été nommée à la fois pour l'étoile montante dans la création de contenu et pour le meilleur contenu média : pour sa collaboration divertissante avec Comeskey lors des World Series of Poker (WSOP).

PokerNews a reçu des nominations dans plusieurs catégories, y compris une nomination pour le meilleur podcast pour le nouveau PokerNews Podcast co-animé par Chad Holloway, Kyna England et Mike Holtz, ainsi que dans la catégorie Meilleur contenu média : écrit pour Connor Richards de l'article sur la partie de poker à domicile à Chicago de Steve Albini, icône de la musique aujourd'hui décédée.

Les gagnants seront annoncés lors d'une cérémonie au PokerGO Studio à Las Vegas le 22 février. La cérémonie mettra également à l'honneur des joueurs tels que le Joueur de l'Année GPI Poker David Coleman, la Joueuse de l'Année Cherish Andrews (deux fois gagnante), Joueur Mid-Major de l'année Han Feng, Jesse Lonis pour le plus grand nombre de semaines à la première place du GPI en 2024 et Joueur de l'année du PokerGO Tour (PGT) Jeremy Ausmus.
