Value for Bardon

Niveau 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

On a flop of {A-Clubs}{K-Clubs}{5-Spades}, Manuel Bardon checked and called a bet of 1,300 by Domenico D'Amore on the button. Bardon check-called another bet worth 2,100 on the {7-Hearts} turn and the {8-Spades} river brought a bet of 7,000 by the Spaniard.

D'Amore called and mucked the {A-Clubs} when Bardon flashed {A-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} for two pair.

Cudrinschi Vanishes

Niveau 4 : 200/300, 300 ante

Two players were eliminated on the table of Tuomo Niskanen. The first one lost all but a few chips with ace-king against the {K-Clubs}{K-Spades} of Alejandro Perez Torres and was all in the next hand. All four callers checked down the board {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades} and the player at risk showed {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Perez Torres held {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} as the winning hand and finished the job he had started.

Right after, Niskanen won a big pot off Iurie Cudrinschi when he called a raise with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} and flopped top and bottom pair. According to Niskanen, Cudrinschi check-raised the flop and bet the turn and river. Niskanen called and Cudrinschi showed ace-five for inferior two pair on the river.

Cudrinschi had some 15,000 left and busted right after.

Carlos Sanchez Diaz final-tabled the £2,200 High Roller and quickly doubled his stack on Day 1b of the £1,100 Main Event also. Just now he added even more chips to his growing tower and appears to be the current chip leader.

With the completed board showing {Q-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and 4,000 in the middle, the Spaniard faced a bet of 800 and raised it up to 7,100. Without hesitation, his opponent called and Sanchez Diaz rolled over {Q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} for two pair to claim another juicy pot.

Neculai Radu more than made up for his mediocre start and turned a full house with {J-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} to chip up. One table over, Carlos Citara flopped a set and further improved to quads with pocket fours to shoot up the leaderboard.

Pregowski Wins Another Pot

Niveau 3 : 100/200, 200 ante

Toni Ojala bet the {K-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Spades} river for 700 and Krzysztof Pregowski raised it up to 3,000. Ojala was in the think tank and used one time bank, while his opponent asked for his nationality and talked through pretty much all possible options.

Eventually, Ojala folded and said he had two pair, mentioned he was from Finland.

"Do you want to see?" Pregowski asked and Ojala nodded. He was shown the {5-Hearts} and asked what the other card may be. Ojala called out an ace and was right, as the {A-Clubs} river for a wheel was also revealed.

John Hesp lost a three-way pot with some 10,000 in the middle when he held {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} on a board {6-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}. One player mucked {5-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} and the third player in the hand revealed {K-Hearts}{6-Hearts} for the better kicker.

"I should have bet," Hesp nodded and remains on a big stack early on Day 1b.
