The Money Bubble is Reached

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

A short stack moved all in for just 29,000 over on table nine and big stack Fernando Pons reraised to isolate.

The player at risk showed {K-Spades}{K-Hearts} and Pons was trailing with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Spades}. However, that all but changed on the {Q-Spades}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop. The {4-Diamonds} turn and {5-Clubs} river were blanks and the field was reduced to just 73 hopefuls.

Luppina Doubles Near the Bubble

Niveau 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

One player busted straight after the dinner break and Gaetano Luppina ended up at risk right after on a different table. Michael Mizrachi had raised to 13,000 and Luppina shoved the button for 34,000. In the small blind, Antoine Labat asked for a count on Mizrachi's stack, then opted to three-bet to 153,000. Mizrachi folded and said he held an ace.

Gaetano Luppina: {K-Spades}{K-Clubs}
Antoine Labat: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The board came {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Luppina doubled.

"He saved you," Mizrachi sighed.

Niveau 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Iaron Lightbourne

The money bubble is coming closer and closer, as just 76 players remain. Ana Marquez is the only remaining 888poker ambassador still in as Chris Moorman and Dominik Nitsche are nowhere to be found.

Iaron Lightbourne just cracked the {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts} of an opponent when he called the shove of 67,000 on the {K-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Clubs} flop and tabled {Q-Spades}{2-Spades}. The {J-Diamonds} turn was a blank, the {6-Spades} river wasn't.

Glaser Doubles Through Sweden

Niveau 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Benny Glaser ended up all in and at risk for 119,000 with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and Craig Sweden looked him up with {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}.

The {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Hearts} flop gave Glaser some more outs and he also drew to a chop on the {7-Diamonds} turn. Instead, the {A-Spades} river even improved the three-time WSOP bracelet winner to two pair and he remained in contention.

Niveau 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Hak-Hyun Lee

Manh the Nguyen jammed blind on blind against Zlatin Penev and was called by the Bulgarian with {A-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}. Nguyen only had {A-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and the board came {Q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{K-Clubs},

Nguyen had around 350,000 left and then got it in after a king-high flop with two hearts. His pocket aces were ahead preflop, but Hak-Hyun Lee had flopped a set of eights to score the knockout and jump above a million in chips.

Souki Jams Into O'Dea

Niveau 16 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Philippe Souki faced a button raise to 12,000 by Eoghan O'Dea and opted for the three-bet to 45,000 out of the small blind, which O'Dea called. On the {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop, Souki checked and O'Dea made it 26,000 to go and Souki check-raised all in with the superior stack to force a fold from O'Dea.
