Castro Chops with Babuchowski
Niveau 5
: 400/800, 800 ante
Jesus Castro was all in a short time ago with Q♣J♦ against J♥10♥ on the turn of a board showing 2♠4♦8♣J♦. Castro was in great shape to double before the 10♦ river saw his opponent make two pair.
After reentering the tournament, Castro was back at a new table facing an open to 1,700 from Lukasz Babuchowski in early position. Castro three-bet on the button to 4,000 and found calls from the big blind and Babuchowski.
Action checked to Castro, who continued for 6,000. The big blind folded while Babuchowski called to the 2♠ turn. Castro followed another check from Babuchowski by betting 15,000.
Babuchowski called to the 4♣ river, where both players checked. Babuchowski showed A♦Q♥ while Castro revealed A♦Q♦ to chop the pot with top pair.
