McSherry bet another 6,500 on the 8♥ turn and Barnes again called. The river was the J♠ and McSherry bet 8,000. Barnes spent several minutes shuffling around his chips before sending his cards into the muck.
McSherry showed him 2♣2♥ for a set as he took the pot. "I had ace-queen of diamonds. What a flop. I thought, how do I lose this hand?" Barnes said.
