Gaines Finds Queens to Double; Varanavicius Not So Lucky
Niveau 21
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Glen Gaines moved all in for 162,000 on the button and John Aitken called in the hijack.
Glen Gaines: Q♦Q♥
John Aitken: J♣J♥
Gaines was far in front with his queens and Aitken found no help on the 10♠5♠2♠6♠3♥ board as Gaines took his turn to double up.
At the same time at another table, Marius Varanavicius hit a set of deuces, but Dean Lyall made a set of fours to send Varanavicius to the rail as the victim of a brutal cooler.
