Du Can't Watch His Double Up
Niveau 22
: Blinds 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Junxian Du moved all in for 260,000 from the hijack as Maogen Fu put him at risk in the small blind.
Junxian Du: K♠K♣
Maogen Fu: A♣J♥
Du stood up from his chair and covered his face with his sweater as he couldn't bear the watch the Q♥7♣7♦ flop. The 10♣ fell on the turn and he finally took a peek at the board.
"Okay, I'll take a king," Du said, and the 5♣ fell on the river to secure his double up.
"Don't call for cards when you're ahead, it's bad luck," Stephen Barnes told him.
