Syzghanov Picks Off Alvarez
Niveau 23
: Blinds 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Jorge Alvarez raised to 80,000 on the button and Yakiv Syzghanov called in the small blind.
Both players checked the 4♣4♥9♣ flop. Alvarez then bet 120,000 on the J♠ turn and Syzghanov called.
The river was the 7♦ and Alvarez bet another 240,000. Syzghanov snap-called and Alvarez showed Q♦10♣ for a missed straight draw, while Syzghanov had J♣10♠ for two pair to win the pot.
