Sevens Are Good For Ten Cate
Niveau 27
: Blinds 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante
Jonas ten Cate picked up K♥K♣ in the hijack and raised to 240,000. The rest of the table quickly folded as Ten Cate found no action with his big pair.
Ten Cate was dealt another pair the next hand, raising to 240,000 under the gun with 7♥7♣. Ian Simpson called in the small blind with A♥10♣.
Ten Cate bet 120,000 on the Q♥6♠3♣ flop and Simpson called. Both players then checked down the J♦ turn and 8♥ river as Ten Cate's sevens beat Simpson's ace-high.
