Angel Perez Eliminated in 3rd Place (€30,500)
Niveau 30
: Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Angel Perez raised to 600,000 on the button and Ian Simpson called in the big blind.
The flop came K♣10♦8♦ and Perez bet 450,000. Simpson then moved all in and Perez called for his last 2,000,000.
Angel Perez: Q♠Q♥
Ian Simpson: K♠6♠
Simpson had outflopped Perez's queens by making a pair of kings as the 7♠ turn left Perez hoping for just one of the last two queens in the deck to stay alive. He instead saw the dealer turn over K♦, giving Simpson trips and sending Perez to the rail in third place.
