Gianluca Speranza was all in preflop for about 12,000 when we got to his table, with {a-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} in the small blind against Xu Wang (middle position) and his {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The {3-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flop was a happy sight for Speranza but the {7-Clubs} turn was not as he now needed to improve. The river brought the {9-Clubs}, giving him a winning pair.

Speranza is coming off of a runner-up finish at WSOP Europe in November.
