Nut Flush for Shimizu

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Holding {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}, Takao Shimizu caught a nice flop when the dealer fanned out {10-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The board completed with the {3-Hearts} and {A-Diamonds} and after building a pot on earlier streets, Shimizu bet 150,000 on the river. Puia paid it off and had to part with those chips.

Abady Flushed Away by Del Vecchio

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Joshua Abady
Joshua Abady

Joshua Abady raised from the button and Mike Del Vecchio defended his big blind. On the {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} flop, Del Vecchio checked and called a bet worth 30,000 by Abady before checking again the {J-Diamonds} turn. Abady bet 65,000 with some 150,000 behind and Del Vecchio check-raised to 325,000.

Abady sighed and said "normally I should snap call," gave it some brief consideration and called it off. "Do you have a flush?" Abady asked and Del Vecchio nodded.

Joshua Abady: {A-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}
Mike Del Vecchio: {Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

The {8-Hearts} river was a blank and that was it for Abady in 33rd place. "I am happy," Abady said with a smile before adding "Why could I not have the ace of diamonds, I could have folded. You know you are paying for all the drinks when you win," to which Del Vecchio replied with "deal."

Doria Doubles Through Zhang

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

[Removed:415] defended his big blind to a raise by Bobby Zhang and the duo checked through the {K-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop. On the {3-Hearts} turn, Doria check-shoved for 279,000 and Zhang reluctantly called with the {K-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for top pair and a flush draw. Doria had turned two pair with {4-Hearts}{3-Spades} and held up with the blank {6-Diamonds} river.

Kim Au won a nice pot off Ben Richardson when calling a bet of 125,000 on the {A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{7-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Hearts} river. Richardson had the {5-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Au won the pot with {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. Au dropped the profit in the last hand of the level against Kahle Burns, though.

Stefan Huber three-bet an open raise by Saijes Mundadan from 28,000 to 80,000 and checked his option in the big blind on the {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop. Huber then check-raised all in against a bet of 58,000 by Mundadan and forced a fold.

Solaas Catches Del Vecchio With Sharp Call

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante
Espen Solaas
Espen Solaas

Espen Solaas limped in from the small blind and Mike Del Vecchio checked his option. On the {6-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{K-Clubs} flop, Solaas bet 18,000, Del Vecchio raised to 54,000 and Solaas called.

The dealer slapped the {A-Hearts} on the turn and Del Vecchio bet 68,000. Solaas wasn't going anywhere and called another street.

The river brought the {Q-Spades} and Solaas checked once more. Del Vecchio cut out a bet of 108,000 and Solaas called after a minute.

Caught with his hand in the cookie jar, Del Vecchio tabled the optional {7-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for seven-high. Solaas showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} for a pair of nines and Del Vecchio nodded.

Coin Lands Wrong for Puia

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Toby Lewis opened for 25,000 under the gun and got two callers. Eddie Puia checked the {3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} and Lewis bet 35,000. Tobias Hausen mucked but Puia stuck around. Two checks followed the {8-Hearts} and the river was a {7-Clubs}. Puia checked and Lewis bet 145,000.

Puia went deep into the tank, taking several minutes into the break. Finally, he came to a decision of sorts.

"You know what I'm gonna do?" he said. "I'm gonna flip a coin."

He flipped a chip and apparently it landed on the call side because he announced an immediate call. Lewis tabled {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for a straight and took the big pot.

Derias Approaching Twenty Big Blinds

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Chen An Lin raised to 26,000 and Sherif Derias called in the blinds.

Derias checked the {6-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{a-Spades} flop to his opponent who continued for 25,000. Derias called. The turn was the {q-Clubs} and Derias check-called a bet of 50,000 from Lin.

The river was the {2-Diamonds} and Derias checked to Lin, who surveyed his opponent's dwindling stack before announcing all in.

Derias only had 255,000 behind, but found a fold with Lin declining to show.

Ajez River Bet Sweeps Away Broom

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

On a full board of {4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{a-Clubs}, and with a pot approaching 300,000, James Broom checked to Najeem Ajez who bet a hefty 275,000.

His opponent eventually folded, and Ajez appeared to want to show before folding. The pair had a brief back-and-forth about what he had, with Broom seeming to make out that he had folded trip fours.

Wysocki Eliminates Lieu

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Robert Lieu opened under the gun and got three-bet by Szymon Wysocki in the cutoff. Lieu shoved for 235,000 and Wysocki called.

Szymon Wysocki: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Robert Lieu: {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The sweat was short as {3-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} flopped to give Wysocki sevens full. He had nearly a mortal lock, and the {4-Hearts} ended things on the turn before a {3-Hearts} river.

Palmer Forces Lim to Fold a Full

Niveau 20 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Over on the feature table, Aaron Lim's raise was called by Beau Palmer in the big blind with the {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} and Lim had the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}. On the {9-Spades}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} turn, Palmer check-raised from 25,000 to 90,000 and Lim called before facing the near instant shove of Palmer on the {K-Hearts} river.

Palmer was bluffing and Lim had a decision for a big portion of his stack with a full house. After long consideration, Lim folded the best hand and Palmer raked in the pot. In real time half an hour later, while the hand was running on the delayed stream, Lim smirked when he could see the hole cards of his opponent.
