Only 13 players out of 59 entries remain in contention for the first High Roller title of the 2020 Aussie Millions and Event #11 A$25,000 Pot-Limit Omaha will play down to a champion as of 2.10 p.m. local time at the Crown Casino complex in Melbourne. Almost half of the remaining field will leave empty-handed as just the top seven spots will take home a portion of the A$1,416,000 prize pool,the min-cash is worth A$84,960 and first place comes with a top prize of A$467,280 and the ANTON Jewellery championship ring.
In prime position to claim the title is Australia's Hun Wei Lee, who has emerged as the overwhelming chip leader with 892,500, more than three times as many chips as last year's runner-up Farid Jattin who has 293,000 at his disposal. Germany's Fabian Brandes sits in third place with 223,500, narrowly ahead of Jorryt van Hoof (213,000) and local cash game player Najeem Ajez (208,500), who finished 4th in Event #6 A$2,500 Six-Max just a few days ago.
Another three Aussies will aim to keep the title on home soil in Tam Truong (195,500), WSOP bracelet winner Martin Kozlov (195,500), and Benjamin Pockett (99,000), along with Kiwi Miroslav Sheynin (184,000). Furthermore, Marc Rivera (168,000), Stephen Chidwick (165,000), Xue Wu (70,500), and Sylvain Loosli (45,000) complete the Day 2 line-up.
