Malo Prevails in Battle of Shorter Stacks

Niveau 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Vincent Wan raised the button to 140,000 with the {5-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Ngoc Tai Hoang defended out of the big blind with the {a-Spades}{2-Diamonds}. The flop brought {k-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Diamonds} and a continuation bet of Wan did the trick to force a fold from Hoang.

Hoang then limped the {10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} from the small blind and Nicolas Malo in the big blind raised to 210,000 with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}. Hoang made the call to see a flop of {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Spades} and both players checked to the {2-Hearts} turn, which resulted in a check of Hoang. Malo now bet 200,000 and received a call.

On the {2-Clubs} river, both players checked and the pot was pushed to Malo.
