Zainescu Loses A Big Pot
Niveau 10
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
After she opened from under the gun and was called by the button, Carmen Zainescu checked the 6♣10♠8♠ flop.
Her opponent took this opportunity to bet 5,000, then fire a second barrel of 15,500 on the turn 3♦. Both times, Zainescu check-called.
But on the river Q♠, the button asked for 40,000. It was too much for Zainescu, who folded.
