[Removed:119] vs Laurynas Levinskas

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

[Removed:119] raised from middle position to 1,200 and Laurynas Levinskas raised to 3,500 from the hijack. Bensadoun called.

The flop was {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} and both players checked. The turn was the {5-Clubs} and Bensadoun check-called a bet of 3,000 from his opponent. The river was the {7-Clubs} and Bensadoun checked again, allowing Levinskas to throw out 15,000.

Bensadoun thought before calling. Levinskas showed {q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a pair of queens, but Bensadoun held {a-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for top pair.

"Nice call," said Levinskas, tapping the table.

Connor Drinan Eliminated By Donghai Wu

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
Connor Drinan (from the main event)
Connor Drinan (from the main event)

When we got to Connor Drinan's table he had bet 4,000 on a board of {6-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{k-Hearts} and Donghai Wu had raised to 20,000, leaving himself just 75 chips behind but still more than enough to put his opponent all in.

Eventually Drinan called and Wu tabled {4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for trip fives and Drinan mucked his hands as he stood and left the tournament floor.

"It's like a birthday present," said William Kassouf. Turning to Yaxi Zhu who was sat next to him, he asked "How do you say happy birthday in Chinese?"

"You know I can say 'Like a Boss!' in nine different languages?" he continued, "How do you say 'Like a Boss' in Chinese?"

It looks like it's going to be a long afternoon for Zhu and the rest of Kassouf's tablemates

Sebastian Veghinas in Full Voice Early in the High Roller

Niveau 3 : 150/300, 50 ante

"I don't care about being famous," said Sebastian Veghinas, "I just want to win!"

He had opened under the gun and Hanyang Peng had defended his big blind.

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{6-Clubs} and Peng check-called 500 from the vocal Veghinas, who was simultaneously busy enjoying a massage, enquiring about the dealer's nationality and obsessing about the size of the pot.

The turn was the {k-Clubs} and Peng checked again. "One-point-one for my friend from China," said Veghinas, and Peng quickly called.

The river was the {2-Hearts} and Peng checked a third time.

"How big is the pot?" asked Veghinas, "Five thousand? Well my dad told me that if the pot is five thousand then I bet five thousand." He did so, and Peng quickly folded.

Charlie Carrel

Charlie Carrel has won two EPT High Rollers in his career. The first at the EPT 11 Grand Final where he won the €25k High Roller for €1,114,000 and the second the next season at EPT 12 Dublin where he took down the €10,000 High Roller for €164,500.

The board was {6-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and the small blind checked, as did Carrel from the big blind and the player on the button bet 1,400. There were two callers.

The turn was the {k-Diamonds} and all three players checked. The river was the {2-Diamonds} and the small blind checked to Carrel who bet 4,000. The third player in the hand folded and action was back on the player in the small blind.

"I don't have five-seven," said Carrel, "Although I could have seven-eight. Or turning a two into a bluff?"

"Or four-three," said his opponent, "What do you think I have?" he asked.

"A set of sixes," said Carrel confidently, "What do you think I have?"

"A five," came the reply. Shortly thereafter, the player elected to fold.
