Smith Remains Active

Niveau 12 : 6,000/12,000, 2,000 ante

Towards the end of the previous level, Dan Smith called a bet worth 60,000 by Stanley Choi on the button after a {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} turn and then checked behind from under the gun once the {K-Spades} river completed the board. Smith's king-jack for a busted draw was no good, as Choi had {A-Hearts}{3-Hearts} for a full house.

The American did get the chips back though by pushing out Sergey Lebedev with a bet of 100,000 out of the small blind on the {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{10-Clubs} river. Lebedev tanked for some time and Igor Kurganov called the clock on him to see his fellow countryman let go soon after.
