Shak Doubles Through Yan

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
Dan Shak
Dan Shak

[Removed:17] had forced a fold from Charlie Carrel just a few minutes ago to build his stack, but all that work just vanished and "MissOracle" has become the shortest stack at his table by a big margin.

Dan Shak opened to 1,000, Yan three-bet to 4,500 out of the blinds and then called a four-ber to 11,000. On the {Q-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts} flop, Yan checked, Shak moved all in and Yan called.

Shak: {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}
Yan: {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The {A-Clubs} turn and {7-Hearts} river changed nothing whatsoever and Shak doubled for 29,950, leaving Yan very short.

Fetahi Pays Off Chidwick

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On a board of {2-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}, Stephen Chidwick checked to Ali Fatehi, who bet 1,500. Chidwick check-raised to 4,000 and Fatehi called. On the {9-Clubs} river, Chidwick casually flicked in a T5,000 chip and Fatehi called it off.

Chidwick tabled {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a full house and took down the pot.

Michalak Gives One Up

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

With 2,200 chips in the middle and the board reading {8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Hearts}, Jakub Michalak put out a 1,300 bet from the big blind. In the cutoff, Nariman Yaghmai, was his single opponent and Iranian player raised it up to 3,100. Michalak called.

Both players checked when the {J-Hearts} came down on the turn. Michalak checked again on the {7-Diamonds} river and faced a 4,500 bet from Yaghmai. He tanked for a couple of minutes, before giving it up.

Yaghmai rakes in another pot and has a very healthy stack of 85,000 chips at the moment.

Schemion Chips Up Through Thorel

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Ole Schemion raised from early position and Jean-Noel Thorel called in the big blind. The flop of {A-Spades}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} went check, check. On the {7-Hearts} turn, Thorel bet 6,000 and Schemion called. The Frenchman quickly grabbed chips again and made it 7,000 to go as soon as the {Q-Hearts} appeared on the river.

Schemion needed some time, but eventually called and Thorel then rolled over the {Q-Spades}{10-Spades}. Schemion turned over his {A-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Thorel studied the board for a few seconds before realizing what had happened. "I made a mistake," he added and the pot was shipped to Schemion.

Fast Doubles Through Kitai

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
Dietrich Fast
Dietrich Fast

Preflop, Dietrich Fast got all of his 14,150 remaining chips in the middle against Davidi Kitai.

Fast: {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Kitai: {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}

It was a race and Fast needed his sevens to hold, to stay in the tournament. Yesterday's €10,000 High Roller winner secured his double up, after the board ran out: {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

Kitai lost a chunck of his stack, but is still in good shape. He had a good start and still sits on a stack of 85,000 chips.

Trips for Thorel

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

Orpen Kisacikoglu was moved tables and found himself next to Jean-Noel Thorel, then immediately opened the action from under the gun. Max Silver in the small blind and Thorel in the big blind called and the flop came {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{10-Spades}. Silver checked, Thorel bet 1,200 and just Kisacikoglu called.

On the {7-Hearts} turn, Thorel continued for 3,000 and picked up a call before the {Q-Spades} on the river went check, check. Thorel turned over the {Q-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for trips queens and that won the pot, as Kisacikoglu mucked.

Nemeth Busts to Drinan

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
Andras Nemeth
Andras Nemeth

"I call," Connor Drinan said and a quick look at the table showed the all in of Andras Nemeth from under the gun. The Hungarian had four-bet jammed for what looked like 12,000 and Drinan looked him up to put Nemeth at risk:

Nemeth: {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}
Drinan: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{8-Spades} and the Hungarian failed to improve, joining the rail as a result. Drinan is looking for more High Roller glory after taking down the €10k High Roller at the EPT Barcelona at the start of this season.

Small Pot, Big River Action

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante

On the three-way flop of {J-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}, the action was checked to Adrian Mateos on the button and he bet 1,800. Only Sam Greenwood in the big blind called and the {8-Hearts} on the turn was checked through. After the {4-Hearts} river, Greenwood bet 6,626 and Mateos raised it up to 18,500 with around 12,500 behind. Greenwood gave it plenty of thought and folded, still having a puzzled look at the face for another half a minute as to what just happened.

Kitai Busts Chmielewski

Niveau 4 : 200/400, 50 ante
Marcin Chmielewski
Marcin Chmielewski

Marcin Chmielewski open raised to 1,000 and his neighbor Davidi Kitai and his neighbor Vladimir Troyanovskiy both called. Dietrich Fast from the blinds, who had lost some chips to Troyanovskiy a couple hands before, squeezed to 4,500.

Chmielewski four-bet to 14,000 with just a little more than that behind. Kitai took his time and five-bet to 22,000. While that wasn't really enough officially, in the end, it didn't matter as it was going in anyway. Troyanovskiy and Fast both quickly released before Chmielewski moved all in. Kitai called.

Marcin Chmielewski: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}
Davidi Kitai: {A-Clubs}{K-Diamonds}

The flop came {A-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}, just about perfect for Kitai. While Fast said he had folded {5-}{2-} suited, the {8-Clubs} on the turn and {5-Clubs} on the river completed the board, busting Chmielewski.
