No Fifth Final Table in a Row for Newey

Niveau 9 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Paul Newey
Paul Newey

From the hijack, Adrian Mateos raised to 12,000. Paul Newey in the cutoff shoved for 86,000 and when the action got back to Mateos, he called.

Paul Newey: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}
Adrian Mateos: {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}

The flop came {A-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{A-Spades} and Newey was trailing. The {2-Spades} on the turn was a blank and the {J-Spades} on the river didn't change anything but make Mateos' hand look better.

No fifth (Super) High Roller final table in a row for Paul Newey, but the four he has now look pretty as well.

Bad Beat Sends Jack Salter Home

Niveau 9 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante
Jack Salter
Jack Salter

Under the gun, Justin Bonomo opened for 13,000. Big blind Jack Salter called from the big blind and checked to his neighbor on {3-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Bonomo bet 11,000 and Salter wasted not much time shoving all in for 60,000. Bonomo thought about it for a bit before he called.

Justin Bonomo: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}
Jack Salter: {Q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The {A-Diamonds} on the turn was a blank but the {6-Spades} on the river sure wasn't!

"Wow" exclaimed Bonomo as Salter got up to make his exit. Down to 11 players.

Timothy Adams Eliminated

Niveau 9 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

Timothy Adams

Big blind Timothy Adams checked on a flop of {7-Hearts}{J-Spades}{Q-Hearts} and his neighbor Sam Greenwood bet 25,000. Adams check-raised all in and after some time, Greenwood called for 134,000.

Sam Greenwood: {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}
Timothy Adams: {Q-Spades}{J-Diamonds}

The {10-Spades} on the turn was the money card for Greenwood and the {9-Diamonds} on the river didn't hurt him. Double up for Greenwood, leaving Adams extremely short. Adams busted the next hand, again to Greenwood.

A twenty-minute break for the players. When they return, blinds will be 3,000 and 6,000 and registration will be closed.

Ole Schemion Eliminated

Niveau 8 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

Ole Schemion was first to act and shoved for his last 35,000. Over on the button, Paul Newey reshoved. Both blinds released. Schemion showed {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and was trailing against the {A-Hearts}{K-Clubs} of Newey. The {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{8-Clubs} board favored the latter and Schemion hit the rail.
