Mateos Takes the Lead

Julian Stuer lost one smaller hand against Ramin Hajiyev and then gave up another against the check-raise of Isaax Haxton on a queen-high flop.
The last hand of the level provided some fireworks when Adrian Mateos opened to 110,000 and Stuer then three-bet to 405,000 in the big blind. Mateos called and the flop fell . Stuer continued for 275,000 and Mateos called. Both then checked through the
turn and the
river.
Stuer flipped over for a pair of fours and ace-high, while Mateos claimed the pot and the chip lead with four left, holding
for fives and fours.
