Family Pots
The Day 1b field size is approaching 700 players at the end of the first level. Many players are seeing flops, but giving up on hands early.
William Kassouf, who is busy checking things out on his phone rather than engaging in early table chatter, was just involved in one such family pot with a player under the gun min-raising to 200, another early position player calling and Kassouf calling behind. A player from late position three-bet the pot to 550 and got calls from the big blind before the three players to already put more money in the pot called.
The 
appeared on the board and the action folded around to the player that three-bet preflop who fired out a continuation bet of 1,075. Everyone, including Kassouf, quickly threw their hand into the muck in succession.
