The 2018 EPT Barcelona Main Event was the biggest ever with 1,931 players. Day 1a of the 2019 Main Event had 726 entries and the number of today already stands at 1,229. That makes up for a total of 1,955 and with that it is already the biggest European Poker Tour Main Event held in Barcelona.

Registration is still open until the start of Day 2 tomorrow and there is still a chance that the tournament could break the 2,000 entries.
