Diego Gasques had bet 15,000 from the hijack and Balazs Biri shoved for 38,900 on the button. Gasques was sitting in the tank for a while when another player had enough and decided to call the clock on him. The floor came over, assessed the situation, and then gave Gasques 30 seconds to decide. When the floor announced Gasques had ten seconds left, announced the call and put some more chips over the line.
Biri tabled for the flopped two pair and the rivered full house. Gasques sighed and showed he held for the pair of eights on the table and the ace-kicker.
"Time to start building it up again" Gasques commented to Natalie Teh who was sitting on his right.
Julien Martini raised to 2,500 from under the gun and was called by Mattias Hansen in the hijack. Action folded to Artur Martirosian in the big blind who shoved for just over 11,000. Martini decided to also shove. Hansen contemplated for a bit before opting to fold to let the other two players battle it out.
Artur Martirosian:
Julien Martini:
The board ran out for Martirosian's pocket tens to hold and double him up.
Natalie Teh and Pete Chen were seated at the same table as has happened over the past five tournaments too. They both joked about them following each other around all the time.
But Chen was now standing on the rail and said: "She had aces!"
Teh wanted to raise but was forced to call as she didn't announce the raise. Action folded to Chen who shoved for around 10,000 and Teh called with pocket aces. Chen had and flopped three diamond but bricked the rest of the board.
As this is a freezeout, Chen is done for now but will return tomorrow for the €1,100 National which will start at noon. That tournament will also be covered by the PokerNews live reporting team.
