The players returned from break and it appeared that Benjamin Pollak proposed a deal.

"Come on," said Pollak. "I have more chips than you."

Pollak is ahead by 180,000 chips (1.5 big blinds).

"Let's just do an even chop," continued Pollak.

"I have to take the full break then," replied Koray Aldemir. "To ask."

"Ask who?" said Pollak.

"Someone who has a piece," replied Aldemir.

The pair now appear to be taking an extended break

Pollak Recalls the Last Time He Made a Pair

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

On a flop of {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{2-Clubs}, both players checked to the {k-Hearts} on the turn. Benjamin Pollak led out for 200,000 and Koray Aldemir called. The river was the {2-Hearts} and Pollak check-folded to a bet of 600,000 from Aldemir.

"I think the last time I made a pair was three hours ago," Pollak joked.

"I had aces in the last 15 hands. But, I'm not going to tell you when," Aldemir responded. "I was hoping you had jacks."

The two went on to play another limped pot and the dealer fanned the flop of {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}. Both players checked and the {k-Spades} hit the turn. Pollak checked again and Aldemir fired out a bet of 200,000. Pollak check-raised to 550,000 and Aldemir called.

The river was the {3-Spades} and Pollak slid forward a bet of 450,000. Aldemir folded and the table talk continued.

"Did you make a pair finally?" Aldemir asked.

In another limped pot, both players checked the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{2-Hearts} flop and the turn was the {6-Spades}.

Benjamin Pollak bet 200,000 and Koray Aldemir called.

The river was the {q-Clubs}. Pollak checked and Aldemir bet 235,000. Pollak called.

Aldemir showed {6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} for two pair, sixes and aces and that was enough to take down the pot.

Close to Even

Niveau 28 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

Koray Aldemir limped in on the button and Benjamin Pollak checked his option. The flop came {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and both players checked to the {k-Clubs} on the turn.

Pollak checked again and Aldemir tossed in a bet of 165,000. Pollak gave it some thought but opted to just call. The river brought the {3-Hearts} which halted the action with four hearts on the board. Pollak tabled {k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} for two pair but Aldemir held {k-Spades}{7-Spades} for a bigger two pair.

With around 700,000 in the middle preflop, the dealer spread the flop of {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Koray Aldemir and Benjamin Pollak quickly got all of the chips in the middle with Pollak being at risk for 2,125,000.

Benjamin Pollak: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Koray Aldemir: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Both players had premium hands with overpairs, but Pollak's was clearly the best. The {8-Clubs} on the turn gave Aldemir plenty of outs with an open-ended straight draw but the {k-Spades} bricked off to send a double up and the chip lead to Pollak.
