La [Removed:534] checked again and Soika tossed in a bet of 1,300 which La [Removed:534] called. The river was the {4-Diamonds} and La [Removed:534] checked for the third time. Soika put together a bet of 4,700 and La [Removed:534] finally let his hand go.

Martirosian Slipping, Helppi Re-Enters

The action folded to Artur Martirosian in the small blind who made it 600 to go. The big blind called and the flop came {k-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Martirosian led out for 1,200 and his opponent called.

The turn was the {4-Hearts} and Martirosian sized up another bet of 3,000 but his opponent stuck around to see the {6-Hearts} on the river. Martirosian finally shut down and tapped the table and his opponent quickly did the same. Martirosian showed {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} for air while his opponent held {q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a pair of sevens.

Meanwhile, Juha Helppi was seen getting up from his seat as the first player eliminated in the tournament but has already quickly used his one re-entry.

With a completed board of {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts} spread across the felt, Stephen Chidwick and Ben Heath were heads-up in a pot. Chidwick checked from the big blind and Heath bet 5,100 into a pot of around 6,000 from the cutoff.
