Thorel Loses a Couple
Jean-Noel Thorel has had a hell of a time trying to beat Bertrand Grospellier in a pot as the two have battled in the blinds since the final table began. That trend continued when Thorel paid off a bet on the river from Grospellier who rivered a flush against the two pair of Thorel.
A couple of hands later, Thorel raised to 105,000 in the cutoff and Steve O'Dwyer defended from the big blind. The flop came and O'Dwyer check-called a bet of 200,000 from Thorel.
The turn was the and both players checked to the on the river. O'Dwyer tossed in a bet of 175,000 and Thorel gave it some thought but decided to lay his hand down.
