Susta Eliminates Kuipers

Niveau 25 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Pim Kuipers
Pim Kuipers

Vojtech Susta was in the hijack and opened to 85,000. Action went around to Pim Kuipers, who three-bet all in for 330,000. Susta made the call.

Pim Kuipers: {a-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Vojtech Susta: {k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

The flop came {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{j-Spades}, keeping Kuipers out in front and in improving position to double. Unfortunately for him, the tides changed on the turn {10-Spades} and Susta was the one to continue improving as the river came {k-Hearts} to result in him having two pair. Kuipers tapped the table to wish everybody good luck and was on his way while the pot was sent Susta's way.

Kuznetcov Nearing Three Million

Niveau 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Nikita Kuznetcov opened to 60,000 from middle position and was called by Fabio Di Blasi, who defended his big blind. The flop came {k-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and Di Blasi checked over to Kuznetcov, who continuation-bet 50,000. Di Blasi called.

The turn was {7-Spades} and both players checked, putting a river {a-Spades} on board. Di Blasi fired out 130,000 and Kuznetcov quickly dropped in a chip to signify a call.

Di Blasi picked up his hand relatively tentatively, doing so in a manner that he could see the entirety of both of his cards before he finished turning them over to table {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} for a bluff. Kuznetcov turned over {a-Clubs}{8-Spades} right away after seeing the bluff, showing his trips to earn him the pot and bring him to just shy of 3 million in chips as a result.

The board came {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{j-Hearts} and Skhulukhiya flopped his ace, he had the Frenchman covered ba one big blind.

Pecheux was all in with {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} against the {a-Spades}{k-Spades} of Nazar Buhaiov and the {9-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}{6-Spades} flop left him drawing dead right away on the flop.

El Kallas Talks Himself Into a Fold

Niveau 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

There was around a half-million in the middle on a board of {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and David Katav had a bet of 325,000 in front of him from the big blind. Action was on Patrick El Kallas, who was under the gun and in the tank.

"I beat nines; I beat sixes. That's about it. A flush, I lose. A straight, I lose," said El Kallas, resulting in a couple of players at the table beginning to laugh. El Kallas vocalized more of his thought process thereafter, saying that Katav had called just shy of 150,000 on the flop and then checked the turn. He tried to make sense of if the line was done with a draw or with a set that Katav was turning into a bluff.

Eventually, he settled on the former, turning over {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} to fold his set of jacks face-up, resulting in Katav taking down the pot.
