Fedor Doubles Up

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After one player opened to 2,600 Viktor Kudinov called and Fedor Algazin moved all in for 19,000. The original raiser folded and Kudinov quickly called.

Viktor Kudinov: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Fedor Algazin: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{a-Hearts} giving Algazin a set but Kudinov a flush draw. The turn {6-Clubs} and river {j-Clubs} were distinctly non-heart-shaped allowing Algazin to double up.

Double Elimination Boosts Kaygorodtcev

Niveau 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

The board read {9-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs} with Nikolay Fal getting to his feet. He could only win a side pot of around 15,000 whilst the two remaining players in the hand had already amassed a pot of over 20,000 between them.

Rudolf Domin checked to Andrey Kaygorodtcev who moved all in. He had Domin covered and eventually Domin called.

Kaygorodtcev showed {6-Spades}{6-Hearts} for a set of sixes. Fal turned over {a-Spades}{8-Hearts} and was eliminated. A disgusted looking Domin turned over {k-Spades}{k-Clubs} and threw his remaining chips into the middle. He continued to set there in disgust for a minute or so before eventually getting to his feet and leaving the tournament area.
