. Carmen Zainescu had mucked the losing hand and was out of the tournament. Bessaev had called Cotturri's shove, but there was some question as to the exact amount that Cotturri would be owed.
It took a moment, but floor staff determined that Cotturri was owed 11,500 from Bessaev, and he dragged a pot to nearly triple his stack early in Day 1a action.
