Playing five-handed over on Table 4, Sam Greenwood opened for 2,500 from the hijack and Timothy Adams three-bet to 8,500. After using nearly his full thirty seconds, Greenwood four-bet to 21,500. Adams wouldn't need long before letting his hand go.

The action was picked up in a pot of 15,000 on a board showing {k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}. Orpen Kisacikoglu checked from under the gun to Adrian Mateos on the button who bet 8,000, which was called.

The {j-Diamonds} completed the board and both players elected to check. Kisacikoglu rolled over {j-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a pair of jacks while Mateos revealed {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for top pair and the winning hand.

Action was caught with around 42,500 in the middle on a {q-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} board and Joao Vieira, in the small blind, had put in a bet of 40,000, leaving 58,000 behind.

Timothy Adams, in the cutoff, would use a timebank card before going all in. Vieira would snap-fold and Adams enjoyed a healthy addition to his stack.

Dvoress Overbets Turn, Gets Value from Badziakouski

Niveau 1 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Daniel Dvoress opened to 3,000 from the button and Mikita Badziakouski defended his big blind.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Dvoress continued for 2,500. Badziakouski called.

The {6-Diamonds} put two flush draws on the board and Dvoress put out a bet of 15,000. Badziakouski considered his options for nearly his full 30 seconds before making the call.

On the {q-Diamonds} river, both players tapped the table. Badziakouski tabled {7-Spades}{6-Hearts} but it was no good as Dvoress showed {a-Spades}{7-Clubs} for top pair and the win.

The 2022 PokerStars and Barcelona©Casino European Poker Tour is nearing its conclusion but not before it continues tonight with the two-day €25,000 No-Limit Hold'em, which will begin at 7 p.m. local time.

Players will begin with a massive starting stack of 100,000 chips and levels will be 30 minutes. Players will play 10 levels on Day 1 with 15-minute breaks after Level 4 and Level 7.

The late registration period will close at the beginning of Day 2, and players will be allowed unlimited re-entries up until that point. A shot clock will be implemented from the start of the event and players will be given 30-second time bank cards at various points throughout Event #56. One caveat of this tournament is that eliminated players who wish to re-enter may only receive the number of time bank cards they had when they were eliminated.

Players will play to a winner on Day 2, with approximately 15% of the field getting paid.

Stay tuned as PokerNews live reporting team provides updates of this event, the conclusion of the Main Event, and more over the next few days here at Casino Barcelona.
