Jozonis Finds a Small Double Through Riccomi

Niveau 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Tomas Jozonis open-shoved from the button for just over 30,000 and the small blind got out of the awy before Alexandre Riccomi called quickly from the big blind.

Tomas Jozonis: {10-Spades}{5-Spades}
Alexandre Riccomi: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The board ran out {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Jozonis made kings and tens to secure the small double.

Niveau 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Peter Turmezey
Peter Turmezey

Peter Turmezey was seen tapping the table and wishing a "gg" to his opponents as Markus Garberg was taking in another big pot.

Turmezey got it in with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}, but he ran into the {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} of Garberg.

The board ran out {5-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and the kings held for Garberg to send Turmezey to the rail.

Forestiero Wins Unusual Coin Flip

Niveau 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Jacob Ansellem raised to 19,000 and then called the shove by Roberto Forestiero for what appeared to be 162,000 from one seat over.

Roberto Forestiero: {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Jacob Ansellem: {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}

"Yes, a coin flip," Forestiero celebrated and that brought some smiles around the table. As the board ran out {a-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}, Forestiero remained ahead and insisted it was a coin flip on a "crazy table".

"Make sure to mention that, it's a coin flip in Italy," Tonny Krijn grinned.

Pro Move Goes Wrong; Angeli Chips Up

Niveau 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

The action kicked off with a raise to 19,000 by Diego Angeli and Gonzalo Pro then pushed all-in from one seat over for essentially 200,000, which Angeli instantly called.

Gonzalo Pro: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Diego Angeli: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

No help arrived on the {k-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{q-Hearts} board and that spelled the end for Pro, while Angeli nearly reached the heights of fellow countryman Giulio Astarita on the same table.

Alejandro "Papo MC" Lococo

Benjamin Bruneteaux ended up getting his 121,000 chips in from the big blind and was at risk against Alejandro Lococo in the hijack.

Benjamin Bruneteaux: {q-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Alejandro Lococo: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} to give Bruneteaux a turned straight and keep his tournament life alive against the PokerStars Ambassador.

Lococo was left with roughly 350,000 after the hand, although he was seen making his exit shortly thereafter. According to players at the table, he lost a flip against Atanas Kodinov and his run came to an end.

Nagygyörgy Doubles Through Chilaud

Niveau 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Tibor Nagygyörgy vaulted out of his seat when he was all-in and at risk for the last 96,000.

The Hungarian had the best of it with {q-Spades}{q-Clubs} against the {a-Spades}{q-Diamonds} of Maxime Chilaud. However, the {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} flop was a massive sweat with Chilaud adding a flush draw on top of the one overcard. Nothing changed on the {5-Spades} turn and the {6-Clubs} river was another blank to keep Nagygyörgy in contention.
