Kisacikoglu Hits the River

Niveau 2 : 100/200, 200 ante

Kitty Kuo had a 500 chip in front of her in the small blind for what looked like a call. Orpen Kisacikoglu raised it up to 800 in the big blind for Kuo to make the call.

They both checked through the {6-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} flop and the {6-Diamonds} on the turn to the {10-Diamonds} on the river. Kuo bet 1,000 for Kisacikoglu to make the call. Kuo tabled the {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} for two pair but Kisacikoglu held the {q-Spades}{10-Spades} for the higher two pair and the pot.

Christoph Vogelsang

Christoph Vogelsang raised to 500 in the cutoff and Byron Kaverman three-bet to 2,700 in the small blind. Vogelsang replied with a four-bet to 6,800 and Kaverman just called.

The flop fell {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Kaverman donk-bet 4,500 which Vogelsang called. The {7-Diamonds} paired the board on the turn and Kaverman checked this time. Vogelsang bet 9,000 and Kaverman stuck around to see the {9-Diamonds} on the river.

Kaverman thought for a minute before dropping in a small bet of 5,500. Vogelsang raised to 30,300, leaving himself just a 100 chip behind. Kaverman went back into the tank before asking the dealer how many time banks he owed thus far.

"Five," was the response from the dealer. Kaverman complied and then opted to lay his hand down.

"Why are you smiling?" Kaverman asked Vogelsang.

"I always smile after playing a weird hand," Vogelsang concluded.
