Niveau 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante
Jan-Eric Schwippert
Jan-Eric Schwippert

Jan-Eric Schwippert was one of the late entries to start Day 2 with 50,000 chips, however, he is making a charge up the leaderboard in the opening level. Schwippert raised on the button and Dimitar Yosifov called in the big blind.

The flop came {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Yosifov checked to Schwippert who continued for 3,500. Yosifov called and the {5-Hearts} rolled off on the turn. Yosifov check-called another bet of 8,500 from Schwippert and the {10-Hearts} completed the board.

Yosifov checked for the third time and Schwippert announced all in, putting Yosifov to the test for his remaining 29,000 chips. Yosifov didn't have to think for very long as he dumped his cards into the muck.

Quenneville Starts Off Hot

Niveau 11 : 800/1,600, 1,600 ante

At Least 69 Players Return for Day 2 of the €25,000 EPT High Roller

Sirzat Hissou
Sirzat Hissou

At 12:30 pm. local time, the €25,000 EPT High Roller kicks of Day 2 with late registration or reentry still possible until that moment. The 2022 PokerStars European Poker Tour presented by Monte-Carlo Casino®️ is coming to an end with two more days to play down but the action will be hot and heavy all day long. There were 160 entries collected on Day 1 and 69 of them made it nicely through to Day 2.

Sirzat Hissou is coming back with a big chip lead of 359,000 in chips which is worth 40 big blinds more than the 294,800 Troy Quenneville amassed on Day 1. Completing the top five at the start of the day are Orpen Kisacikoglu, Kent Staahle, and Steve O'Dwyer.

But as expected, there are still so many players left in the field that you'd see in any High Roller regularly. Rainer Kempe, Byron Kaverman, Cedric Schwaederle, Andrey Andreev, Erik Seidel, Jean-Noel Thorel, Fabian Quoss, Alexandros Kolonias, and Mike Watson are some of the players who have some work ahead of them as they can be found at the bottom of the chip counts.
