Mikhael Doubles Through Vauquelin
Niveau 3
: Blinds 100/300, 300 ante
Laurent Vauquelin opened to 800 from middle position and was called by Jean Mikhael in the big blind.
Mikhael check-called a 1,200 bet from Vauquelin on the 8♦6♥8♠ flop and a 1,400 bet from Vauquelin on the 4♣ turn.
The A♣ completed the board and Mikhael checked a final time — prompting Vauquelin to bet enough to put Mikhael all in for his last 6,000. Mikhael called and Vauquelin turned over 7♣6♠ for eights and sixes. They were no good, however, against Mikhael's A♦10♥ for a better two pair and Mikhael doubled up.
