Samuel Sends Stone Out With a Set
Niveau 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Erich Tedeschi limped from early position Jacob Stone raised to 2,600 from middle postion. Samuel Ju called from middle position and Tedeschi called as well.
The flop came 2♥J♣7♥ and action was checked to Stone, who bet 2,200. Tedeschi folded, but Stone then check-raised to 7,500. Ju called.
The 4♦ fell on the turn and Stone continued for a 9,000 bet. Ju raised all in for just under 30,000 and Stone called all in for less.
Samuel Stone: A♣J♥
Samuel Ju: 7♦7♣
Ju had Stone drawing dead with his set of sevens and a meaningless 4♦ completed the board — eliminating Stone from contention late in the evening.
