Kaufman Catches the Turn
Niveau 26
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Igor Kaufman limped from the small blind and Dionysios Kartsampas checked his big blind option to the J♥A♦3♥ flop.
Kaufman checked to Kartsampas, who slid out a bet of 200,000. Kaufman then asked for a count of his opponent's remaining stack before raising enough to put Kartsampas all in.
After counting out his remaining 1,450,000 chips and taking a few minutes in the tank, Kartsampas made the call.
Dionysios Kartsampas: A♣Q♦
Igor Kaufman: A♥10♥
Kartsampas was in front but needed to dodge plenty of cards. The 10♠ was one of those, as Kaufman connected for two pair. The 7♠ was no help to Kartsampas, who wished everyone good luck on his way out of the tournament room.
