Yarosh Can't Connect, Scattone Takes Most of His Stack

Three-handed on a board of 3♥A♣9♣4♥, Gregory Scattone moved all in for 8,000 from middle position before Aliaksandr Yarosh reshoved for 18,800 in the small blind.

Francesco Fortunato, who had both players well covered from under the gun, tanked for a minute before mucking. Scattone turned over A♠J♠ for a pair of aces, while Yarosh had K♣J♣ for a flush draw.

Yarosh stood up from his seat to await the river, which came the A♥ and improved Scattone to trips. Yarosh sat back down and handed over the pot, leaving himself on an extreme short stack.

The 8♥9♦10♦ was checked by Buruil, before Ferrer bet out 3,000, which the Frenchman called.

Once again, Buruil made a check on the turn as the 2♦ landed. Ferrer bet out for 8,000 and was called instantly.

With a four-card straight on the board as the J♣ river hit, Buruil checked a third time. Ferrer checked back and was disappointed to see his opponent rivered the nut straight, holding K♦Q♥ having also had a flush draw on the turn.

The 8♥ turn slowed down Alibas and Welling took the lead with a bet of 6,500. Alibas assured Welling he had nothing and tossed his cards to the muck.
