Saminadin Is Good on the River
Niveau 28
: Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante
The pot had already swelled to over 1,200,000 with three players looking at a board that read Q♣4♣9♦8♣.
The action was checked to Thomas Saminadin, in the cutoff, who bet out for 400,000. Frederic Breton, in the big blind, folded while Goran Mandic, in middle position, called.
The river fell the J♠ which checked through to a showdown. Goran Mandic tabled K♦Q♥ which was no good against the rivered two pair of Saminadin, who showed J♦8♦.
