Chaudey Bluffs with the Best Hand
Niveau 8
: 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Christopher Chaudey raised to 2,700 in the cutoff, receiving a call from Guido Pieraccini in the big blind.
Pieraccini check-called a bet of 2,500 from Chaudey on a flop of K♠3♦5♦.
The 10♣ turn saw a repeat of the action; this time Chaudey sizing up to 6,300.
Pieraccini checked again on the 7♥ river. Chaudey bet 12,500 and Pieraccini made the call. Chaudey reluctantly tabled J♠7♣, slamming the cards on their backs in defeat. Much to his surprise, Pieraccini mucked and he won this pot.
