Pop Takes From Arnold

Daniel J O'Hair

Niveau 16 : Blinds 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Alejandro Arnold opened to 11,000 first-to-act and was called by Danilo Velasevic in the small blind and Catalin Pop in the big blind.

Action checked to Arnold on the 7♥J♥6♦ flop and he continued for 20,000. Only Pop called.

Pop then led out for 26,000 when the 7♠ paired the board and Arnold called.

Both players checked down on the 6♣ river and Pop showed J♣3♣ for jacks-up. Arnold couldn't beat it and sent his hand into the muck.
