Boianovsky Calls with Third Pair
Niveau 19
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Felipe Boianovsky opened to 20,000 from middle position, then Jose Valls in the big blind three-bet to 75,000. Boianovsky eventually called, and a Q♦J♥9♣ flop landed on the table.
Both players checked at this point and they checked again on the turn 2♣. On the river Qx, Valls decided to bet 89,000 chips. Boianovsky went into the tank and decided to call with K♦9♦. Valls revealed A♦2♥ before him, so Boianovsky won the pot with his pair of nines to go with the queens on the board.
