Akkari Doubles Again, This Time Off Plante

Ryan Lashmar

Niveau 27 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Santiago Plante opened to 120,000 from the hijack and Andre Akkari defended from the big blind.

The flop came 10♦7♥4♦. Akkari checked and Plante bet 60,000. Akkari then moved all in for his remaining stack of 635,000.

After asking for a count Plante made the call to put Akkari at risk.

Andre Akkari: 10♣6♣
Santiago Plante: A♠7♣

Akkari was ahead with the bigger pair and remained so on the K♦10♥ runout to secure another full double up at Plante's expense.
