Wiciak's Straight no Match For Akkari's Flush
Niveau 33
: Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Andre Akkari raised to 500,000 with A♥6♥ from early position and Simon Wiciak defended his big blind with 10♥7♦.
Both players checked on the 9♦8♥6♦ flop and Wiciak led out with his flopped straight for 500,000 on the 2♥ turn. Akkari called with his flush draw.
The Q♥ came on the river, completing Akkari's flush, and Wiciak bet 1,000,000. Akkari shoved for 3,600,000 and Wiciak let his hand go — sending the sizable pot Akkari's way.
