Eduard Barsegyan and Ramin Hajiyev went heads-up to a flop of 10♦8♣5♥ where Barsegyan, in the big blind, led out with an all-in shove. Hajiyev then called off his last 450,000.
Ramin Hajiyev: 10♣9♣
Eduard Barsegyan: J♠9♠
Hajiyev had top pair and needed to dodge Barsegyan's straight draw to stay alive. The K♦ turn was safe, but the river brought the 7♦ as Barsegyan completed his straight to send Hajiyev to the rail.
Simon Wiciak opened to 80,000 from the hijack holding A♦J♥ and received calls from Khazret Nebezhev from the cutoff with 6♥6♣, Andre Akkari hoding K♣Q♥ in the small blind and Markkuu Koplimaa with 6♦5♠ in the big blind.
All four players checked the 9♣7♠3♣ flop leading to the 4♠ turn. Akkari checked and Koplimaa bet 130,000 with his turned straight, receiving a call only from Nebezhev.
Koplimaa bet again on the 8♣ river for 230,000 and this time Nebezhev made the fold.
Heads-up on a flop of 4♠7♦2♥, Pedro Lopes bet 100,000 from the hijack and Thomas Boivin called on the button.
The turn came the Q♠ and Lopes bet another 380,000. Boivin again called as the Q♦ fell on the river. Lopes then slid in a tower of green 25,000 chips, totaling a bet of 750,000.
Sandor Hadnagy raised to 80,000 from early position and Samuel Fournier called from the big blind.
The flop was J♣K♣5♠ and Fournier checked. Hadnagy bet 90,000 and Fournier called to see 2♦ on the turn.
Fournier checked again and Hadnagy continued for 105,000. Fournier raised to 350,000 and Hadnagy went into the tank. After he used a time bank, Hadnagy shoved and Fournier folded to give him the pot.
Alexander Wahl opened to 300,000 from the hijack with A♠9♦, leaving only 50,000 behind. Simon Wiciak called from the cutoff holding K♦Q♥.
The flop came 5♠4♥3♠. Wahl used a time extension chip before checking and Wiciak moved all in. Wahl made the fold, much to the visible surprise of his opponent, leaving himself with just over one big blind.
Alexander Wahl moved all in from under the gun for his last 50,000 with and was called by Markku Koplimaa in the small blind. João Sydenstricker three-bet to 225,000, folding out Koplimaa to leave Wahl at risk.
Wahl was behind preflop but spiked trips on the 3♣J♥3♥ flop. He improved to quads on the 3♠ turn, making the 9♠ river irrelevant as Wahl received just under a full quadruple up.
The next hand, Gaetan Balleur opened to 200,000 the hijack and Wahl called off from the big blind for his remaining stack to put himself at risk.
Alexander Wahl: A♥2♦
Gaetan Balleur: 6♠6♥
The board ran out 4♦10♠J♣5♦J♠, ending Wahl's run while Balleur collected the last of his chips.
