João Sydenstricker opened to 135,000 from middle position and Khazret Nebezhev made the call from the small blind.

The flop came 7♣4♥3♥. Nebezhev checked, Sydenstricker bet 180,000 and Nebezhev put in a check-raise to 415,000. Sydenstricker used one time extension before making the call.

On the 9♠ turn Nebezhev bet 665,000. Sydenstricker moved all in for 1,375,000 and Nebezhev called with slightly more to put Sydenstricker at risk.

Sydenstricker had turned a bigger set leaving Nebezhev drawing to just one out. The case three never appeared when the river came the K♥ and Sydenstricker took down a massive pot while Nebezhev was left with under three big blinds.

Fournier Involved in First Three Hands

Samuel Fournier entered the first three pots coming back from break, with mixed results.

The first hand, he raised to 170,000 from early position and the rest of the table folded.

Fournier then raised to 170,000 again under the gun and Sandor Hadnagy three-bet to 380,000 out of the big blind. Fournier called to see the 10♦5♣5♠ flop, where he quickly folded to a bet of 375,000.

Carl Shaw was late arriving back from break and had just retaken his seat when he raised to 175,000 under the gun. Fournier called in the big blind and the flop came 2♥6♦10♥.

Shaw continued for 150,000 and Fournier called. Both players checked down the A♥ turn and 4♦ river.

Fournier showed K♦J♦ for a missed straight draw, while Shaw had Q♥10♠ to win the pot with his pair of tens.

Andre Akkari opened to 160,000 from the cutoff and received a call from Curtis Knight in the small blind. Santiago Plante then used one time extension before putting in a three-bet to 1,490,000 in the big blind, leaving himself only about 50,000 behind.

Both Akkari and Knight folded allowing Plante to take the pot without having to see a flop.

Mathias Duarte looked down at A♥K♥ on the button and four-bet to A♥K♥.

Wiciak used a time bank to consider what to do with pocket aces before he shoved his big stack of 9,340,000. Lopes folded and and Duarte called. Action was heads up with Duarte at risk.

The PokerStars North American Poker Tour (NAPT) is returning after a 12-year hiatus, and where better to get the show on the road than fabulous Las Vegas? November 4-12 are the dates to highlight in your diaries because that is when NAPT Las Vegas heads to Resorts World in "Sin City."

The 2023 NAPT Las Vegas takes place just one week before the most anticipated Formula 1 Grand Prix in history, which takes place through the streets of Las Vegas. PokerStars will be there, Oracle Red Bull Racing will be there, will you?

Although primarily aimed at the North American market, the NAPT is open to all, and PokerNews expects players to travel from far and wide to get involved in this historic rebirth. A $1,650 buy-in NAPT Las Vegas Main Event runs from November 6-11, and a $550 PokerStars Cup is scheduled for November 9-12, with a $5,300 High Roller attracting the biggest names between November 10-12. The full 2023 NAPT Las Vegas schedule will be released in due course.

Sandor Hadnagy raised to 170,000 from under the gun as action folded to Daniyar Aubakirov in the big blind who three-bet to 440,000. Hadnagy then shoved all in and Aubakirov snap-called.

Aubakirov took the lead on the K♠2♠J♠ flop with top pair, while Hadnagy had a flush draw. The 3♥ turn was no help, while the 2♦ river sealed the pot for Aubakirov.

The stacks were counted down and Aubakirov had 2,930,000 remaining and Hadnagy 2,925,000. Aubakirov had him covered by just 5,000 and Hadnagy was sent to the rail.
