Plante check-called a 355,000 bet from Sydenstricker on the J♣A♣K♦ flop, but check-folded facing a 700,000 bet after the J♠ fell on the turn and Sydenstricker collected the pot.

Knight checked once more on the A♠ river and Akkari bet a small 400,000. Knight called and saw the bad news as he was outkicked.

Knight Fills Up on Waigel

Ezequiel Waigel picked up A♠A♦ under the gun and raised to 325,000. The rest of the table folded and Waigel won the blinds and antes.

Waigel got no action on that hand, so the next pot he decided to create his own. After Curtis Knight raised to 300,000 in the hijack with K♠J♠, Waigel three-bet to 900,000 out of the big blind with 7♣6♠. Knight called and they saw a flop of K♦5♠7♠.

Knight had flopped top pair and a flush draw, calling a bet of 400,000 from Waigel. Both players checked the K♥ turn after Knight improved to trips.

The J♦ river gave Knight a full house and Waigel checked again. Knight then pushed forward 2,260,000 and Waigel snap-folded.

Simon Wiciak opened to 300,000 with Q♦J♥ first-to-act and was called by Robin Ylitalo with K♠Q♠ in the cutoff.

Both players checked on the K♥6♥5♥ flop and then Wiciak bet 550,000 on the K♣ turn. Ylitalo called with his trip kings.

The 7♣ completed the board, whiffing Wiciak's flush draw, and he fired 1,300,000 into the middle. Ylitalo quickly called and Wiciak was forced to surrender the pot.

The next hand, Ylitalo again made it 325,000, this time with A♣10♠, and Carl Shaw reraised to 900,000 with 2♦2♣ out of the hijack. João Sydenstricker then woke up with K♠K♦ in the small blind and four-bet to 3,000,000, leaving himself just 325,000 behind, and both opponents folded.

The flop came 6♣4♠6♦ and action was checked to Waigel, who bet 300,000. Ylitalo folded, but Knight check-raised to 1,000,000. Waigel let his hand go and Knight dragged the pot.
