Zainescu Falls To Shehata
Niveau 8
: Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Carmen Zainescu was all in and at risk from the small blind as Vladas Tamasauskas in the big blind and Mark Shehata on the button battled for a side pot on a board of 7♣5♦8♦2♣.
Tamasauskas checked on the turn and Shehata bet 17,000 as Zainescu got some rail support from fellow Romanian Danut Chisu. Tamasauskas folded and the cards were flipped.
Carmen Zainescu: K♣9♣
Mark Shehata: 10♣10♦
Zainescu had plenty of outs with a flush draw, gutshot and overcard, but the 5♥ bricked off on the river and she was eliminated.
