Kowalczyk Eclipses Sun on the River
Niveau 7
: Blinds 400/800, 800 ante
Three-handed on a flop of 8♠K♦K♠, Yujie Sun bet 2,000 from early position and Allan Sannier called in the cutoff, as did big blind Maciej Kowalczyk.
The turn came the 10♣ and Sun bet another 6,000. Sannier folded, but Kowalczyk stuck around to see the 5♣ river.
Kowalczyk then led out with an all-in shove and Sun agonized over the decision for a minute before sliding in his last 12,000. Kowalczyk turned over 5♠5♥ for a rivered full house and Sun went to muck his cards before the dealer exposed his K♣J♠.
