Melkisetian Calls Off Against Venckus' Aces
Niveau 22
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Ara Melkisetian and Eimantas Venckus were heads-up on a board of 5♠K♦5♦4♠9♠ and nearly 300,000 in the pot already when Venckus moved all in from under the gun.
Melkisetian was in the big blind and tanked for a few minutes before calling off his last 340,000. Venckus then showed him A♣A♠ and Melkisetian instantly mucked his hand and shot out of his seat to make his exit. The dealer retrieved his K♣Q♠ and showed it to the table before pushing the big pot over to Venckus.
At another table, Tom Vogelsang bet 150,000 from the button on a flop of 4♠5♦9♦ before Alessio Isaia moved all in from the big blind for 605,000.
Vogelsang asked for a count but mucked before too much time had elapsed.
