Eights Are Good For Ahuja
Niveau 32
: Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Mykhailo Demydenko raised to 425,000 in the cutoff and Ankit Ahuja called on the button, while big blind Andrei Teodorescu also came along and called.
The flop came 7♥2♣J♣ and action checked to Ahuja who bet 300,000. Only Teodorescu called to the 2♦ turn.
Ahuja then fired out another 750,000 and Teodorescu tanked for a minute before calling. Both players checked the J♠ river and Teodorescu showed 10♣9♠ for a missed straight draw, while Ahuja took the pot with 8♦8♣.
